Humanist? One Life, Live it Well

Being a Humanist means leading a good and worthwhile life, guided by your Head and your Heart, valuing creativity, free-thinking, democracy, and standing up for free speech and human rights. We are not set by rules or guided by Religious beliefs written in a book. Be guided by your inner compass, and find happiness in those around you and what matters to you.
You are probably very Humanist, without knowing it!

Humanist ceremonies provide the opportunity for you to create a ceremony that doesn’t have to include traditions, religion, or things that you have been led to believe you “should” include. Humanist ceremonies allow you to reflect on what’s really important for you and to celebrate what you value most.
As a member of the Caledonian Humanist Association, I am fully insured and registered with the Registrar General of National Records of Scotland to legally conduct weddings in Scotland.
We are a diverse and all-around awesome bunch of folk at CHA who promote and raise awareness of Humanism. We provide diverse, equitable, and inclusive ceremonies where all couples feel valued heard, and respected no matter their gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, or identity.
Should anything occur that makes me unavailable on the day of your celebration, we have an amazing network of celebrants and we’d find one suitable who can step in if needs be.
